  • Packaging Your Finished Product
    Friday, December 08, 2006
Packaging your finished product Packaging not only increases the attractiveness of your finished product, but also its perceived value. Don't be fooled -- you pay a hell of a lot for packaging all the time in your every day life. How many times have you been into a store and bought something that was nicely packaged just because it looked good? It's all about letting the customer know that your product is professional and not just thrown together.

    Some ideas ....·
If your candles have a rustic or country feel, simply tie them off with some natural coloured raffia wrapped round and tied into a bow with a hang a tag for the company name, product and scent. ·
Use cello bags to pop your candles into.
Tape over any excess with clear tape and tie the tops off with pretty curling ribbon. Stick a label on the front with the company name, product and scent.

    · Use your home printer to make labels!!! A lot of easily available software like Microsoft Publisher comes with label templates that you can customise yourself. Print onto good quality sticker paper and cut to size! For an added effect use scissors with a fancy cutting blade to get a really good effect on the label. · Custom made warning labels. Some companies offer reasonably priced custom printing onto warning labels with your company name and tele number. This gives a great impression to your customers If you have a well thought out and professionally packaged product, the customer is more likely to think of you as a "real" business. It may cost a little extra in the outlay for cello bags for example, but the return will be more than worth it.
